Offerings.
This is to give you an idea of what I am currently offering - from regular classes (in-person and online) to private teaching and corporate yoga.
My yoga style.
I mainly teach Vinyasa yoga, flowing sequences that link movement and breath.
For me, the yoga mat is a playground: Yoga is not about getting into certain shapes in one specific way. Yoga is about working with your body, exploring body, heart & mind.
That being said, you can always expect little challenges in my yoga classes - and you will feel your muscles afterwards (at least that is what I am told). However, I want you to listen to your body, work with your body, and most importantly: have a good time.
My way of teaching is modern & clean with precise cueing & intelligent sequencing.

Every Sunday at 6 pm CET, I am teaching a 60 minute online Vinyasa class via Zoom. All levels welcome. We will be having a well-rounded practice, usually working towards a peak pose. This class is a great way to move your whole body, be with your breath - and round off the weekend with some me-time. Price is 13 € / class (or 60 € / 5 classes or 110 € / 10 classes) and you can book via mail. Classes are usually in German, but can be held in English depending on who is participating.
Private teaching.
Are you looking for a class that is tailor made for your needs? Is there a specific pose you need help working on? Do you want to book a yoga class for an event? I also offer private yoga classes that are 100 % suited to your individual needs & goals - from one-on-ones to teaching (smaller) groups. Just let me know what you are looking for.
Corporate yoga.

A modern and informed approach to yoga & well-being, from gentle to more intense movement as well es breathwork and mindfulness. Always based on the participants’ needs and suited to all levels and bodies. Get in touch to learn more.
What participants are saying.
“I took part in Maike’s Vinyasa yoga classes and they are great! The way she explains every move is very clear, I almost never have to watch what she is doing because she describes everything in detail, allowing me to concentrate on my flow. If I need to be sure however, I can always watch what she is doing. The classes are for all levels, so she includes both easier and harder asanas - you can then adapt them to your own level. Highly recommended.”

“Maike’s yoga class is challenging in a very good way. I always learn more about my body, my practice and the opportunities yoga offers me. She guides every participant with her heartwarming personality and way of teaching through her class - no matter what level. As a bonus you do feel your muscles and your practice right on the next day again ;-).”
— Simone
“Maike’s yoga class is one of my highlights every week. You can see that she prepares all sessions with lots of love & passion. The classes usually are a great mix of peaceful and powerful moments. In very short time, you are able to relax and reconnect with yourself. Apart from that, I love Maike’s calm, likable and authentic approach. Her classes are modern, yet inspiring at the same time.”

”At the age of 64 some of the Yoga asanas , e.g. the Mermaid, are very difficult for me. But after doing Yoga with Maike for one year and a half I am nearly as flexible as 30 years ago. I even learned to understand and to do the Half Moon in a private lesson with Maike. She explains the asanas very patiently and clearly. Who knows, maybe I will be able to do the Mermaid one day.”
